Williams 911: Week of May 25, 2011
The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -
Officers took a report of theft on Third.
Officers responded to Homestead in reference to juveniles shooting BB guns.
Officers responded to suspicious persons and a smell of marijuana on Third and Grant.
Officers responded to a report of loud music on Route 66.
Officers took a report of an assault on Seventh.
Officers responded to a disturbance at a hotel. A subject was removed.
Officers took a report of burglary from a resident's yard on Sherman.
Officers assisted the Department of Public Safety (DPS) with several injury and non-injury accidents on Interstate 40. The accidents were weather related.
Officers responded to a noise complaint on Edison.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Hancock. A gun discharged while a subject cleaning the gun. No one was injured.
Officers arrested a female on Second for aggravated DUI, child endangerment and trespassing.
Officers responded to a fight on First and Route 66. Officers found nothing.
Officers arrested a male on 10th for unlawful imprisonment and assault.
Officers arrested a male on 10th for a felony warrant.
Officers issued six citations and gave out 17 warnings.

Silent Witness offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
