WILLIAMS - "I'm bored" is not something you hear around the Rec Center during the summer. The city of Williams Summer Recreation program is helping to wear your kids out Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The program has had an average of 60 kids each day. Events including bowling, trips to Bearizona and Harkins Theater in Flagstaff, Camp Civitan play-day, a trip to Freedom Station Amusement Park, Pets on Parade Day and a summer luau have been enjoyed by all.

These lucky kids enjoy swimming Wednesday and Friday, taking field trips on Tuesdays, creating fun craft projects and have special events on Thursdays.

Upcoming events include our annual talent show, special water day at the Aquatic Center and Cureton Park, another Harkins trip, a trip to Buckskinner and a movie/pajamas day. Sign-ups for this fantastic summer program are available through the end of the program on Aug. 5.

Stop by the Recreation Center and stop hearing the infamous "Mom... I'm bored."
