The Williams Volunteer Fire Department was called out last night to put out a fire that had broken out in the old dynamite shack near the Santa Fe Dam. This building was put up by the Santa Fe several years ago when repairs were being made on the dam for the purpose of storing dynamite. After the completion of the repairs the shack was left vacant. The cause of the fire is unknown and the building was completely destroyed before the fire department had a chance to reach the fire.
