An Olympic-style break
Xanterra employees treated to food and games during annual Property Olympics, July 10
GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - An enthusiastic crowd of employees and family attended the annual Xanterra South Rim Property Olympics on July 10 at the Grand Canyon Recreation Center. Department teams competed against each other tackling puzzles, obstacle courses and other strategic events.
"We've been sponsoring this for over 15 years," said Jon Streit, general manager of Xanterra South Rim. "It's a enjoyable mid-summer break for our staff and a fun way of saying thanks for all their hard work."
The function included an abundant barbecue feast along with iced drinks, popcorn and summer desserts. Over 1,000 meals were served. Xanterra Purchasing Director Jeanie Sharpand and Rooms Director Mike Harding, coordinated the event.
