The Red Cross production division has established new hours for the workroom at Ashlar Hall. The room will be open 2-5 p.m. each Monday. The production division is still working hard on a variety of sewed and knitted articles, and is still in need of help. Any woman who wants to assist with this work will be welcomed. Sewing is ready to be done at home, since there is a shortage of machines at the workroom, and there is a variety of knitting to be done.

"That pool will be open June 1, or somebody is going to burst," said Mrs. Ray Hacker of the Williams Park Board, as a meeting of that group Monday night launched plans for reactivating the swimming pool drive. Primary need at present is to get the roof on the bathhouse so that a heater may be installed, thus making the interior warm enough so work can continue on the plumbing. A $350 heater has been donated and will be installed as soon as the roof is placed.
