Chamber hires new President/CEO
Position vacant since December, start date unknown
WILLIAMS - The Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce Selection Committee has chosen Gioia (Joy-a) Danesi-Goodrum as President/CEO, according to the chamber's April newsletter.
Danesi-Goodrum is from the Verde Valley where she and her husband have resided since 2003. She has worked for Yavapai College in its Career Services Department providing leadership to its staff and overseeing an internship program. Danesi-Goodrum has more than 20 years experience in marketing and tourism, leadership, strategic planning and management. She has been involved in her community and the Verde Valley Chamber of Commerce for many years.
It is unknown when Danesi-Goodrum will begin working for the Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce. The position has been vacant since Dec. 17 when the Chamber Executive Board voted not to renew former President/CEO Rhonda Rosinki's contract.
