WILLIAMS - The Williams 4-H Mountaineers did a great job at the 61st annual Coconino County Fair this year. The local club was awarded the first annual 4-H Clubwork building award for having the most entries in the

4-H Clubwork building. The group had 67 entries.

Some of the bigger awards won by local members were Reserve Poultry Showman,

Reserve Rabbit Showman, Grand Champion Market Turkey, Reserve Champion Market Chickens, Grand Champion Lamb Showman, Grand Champion Goat Showman, Grand Champion Market Goat, and many other first place prizes for Showmanship, Confirmation and projects entered in the fair. The horse kids also did a wonderful job the weekend before the fair, according to leader Angela Hamby.

"Thanks to the many parents who helped throughout the year. Thank you also to the leaders who volunteered their time to help make a difference in a child's life through 4-H. We are always looking for new leaders and members," Hamby said.
