CCC presents workshop to help make college more affordable

FLAGSTAFF - In response to a need identified through the Coconino County Rapid Response Team, Coconino Community College is hosting a workshop on applying for scholarships and financial aid 1-2 p.m. March 25.

The workshop is open to the public and will be held in room 457 at CCC's Flagstaff Lone Tree Campus. This is a great opportunity for students to gain knowledge about different scholarships that will make college more affordable.

CCC's Director of Financial Aid, Bob Voytek and Northern Arizona University's Terri Beeson-Davis from NAU's Educational Opportunity Center have teamed together to help potential and enrolled students with locating scholarships.

The workshop will also focus on helping students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The deadline to apply for CCC fall semester scholarships is March 31.
