Hard hitting softball team takes tourney

A combined Williams-Seligman little league softball team traveled to the Prescott Valley Tournament of Champions June 13 coming away with the championship trophy.
In their first game, the 9-12-year-old major league team took on Prescott Valley winning the match-up 27-17. The win sent the girls to the championship game.
Against Wickenburg, the girls dominated on offense winning 19-6.
Coaches Gabe Alvarado and Shelby Burch were named MVPs by their players and parents.
