Carol Patricia Wamble
Carol Patricia Wamble, 53, of Williams, passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009.
She was born at the Grand Canyon May 13, 1956 to John T. and Patricia Wamble and was raised in Williams, where she graduated from Williams High School, Class of 1974. She graduated from Yavapai Community College in 1978 earning an A.A. degree. She furthered her studies at Northern Arizona University, achieving a B.A. degree in 1988.
Carol retired from the Forest Service in 2005 after a long career. She then worked in the adult education department at Coconino Community College in Williams for four years. She was an inspiration to many as she overcame physical limitations to enjoy a life filled with family, friends, travel, creativity and volunteer service to her community.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Patricia Wamble; her sisters, Nancy (Patrick) Jessup, Clarice Holldorf, JoAnn Wamble, Barbara Wamble, half sisters Susie Bowman, Sharon Greene; her 19 nieces and nephews and seven grand nieces and nephews. Sharing this sorrow are her close friends, co-workers, and her many acquaintances.
