Amanda's Beauty Box, formerly Clips On Route 66, is now under new ownership and is currently open for business in the downtown Williams area. New owner Amanda Orozco said the salon offers a number of services, including pedicures, manicures, gels and "the only salon in town that does acrylics."

"I'm very excited to have my own place and I look forward to serving the Williams area," Orozco said. "Come see our new atmosphere."

Years of experience in colors, cuts, perms, and all other hair services, are now offered at Amanda's Beauty Box. Waxing and eyebrow tinting is also available by way of stylists and hair color specialists Orozco and Lyndie Marrufo. Nail technicians include Stephanie Tollefson and Lee Magness.

Footzonologist Cody Mortensen will also be available at the new salon. Called the scientific study of the foot's signal systems, Mortensen said footzonolgy is rejuvenation technique that can take roughly 45 minutes to an hour.

"It begins to repair your cells in your body, which in turn repairs the DNA pattern in your body," Mortensen said. "When this is rejuvenated, your body begins to return to its original blueprint, or the way you were created."

Amanda's Beauty Box is located at 321 E. Route 66 between Wild West Junction and Rod's Steak House. Call (928) 635-3092 for more information. Walk-ins are also welcome.
