CCC president cancels Williams visit

Meeting in Phoenix prevents scheduled Williams visit

Citing a scheduling error, Coconino Community College (CCC) President Leah L. Bornstein will not visit Williams Jan. 22. Bornstein had planned to visit the Williams CCC campus, attend meetings in the area, and make a presentation to members of Williams City Council during their regular 7 p.m. meeting at city hall. According to Bornstein's Executive Assistant Joan White, Bornstein was forced to cancel the Williams visit due to a meeting between college presidents and Arizona Governor Jan Brewer scheduled in the Phoenix area on the same day. Bornstein visits the Williams campus every month, according to CCC officials, in order to meet with students and others who have questions about the campus and the community college.
