Around the Canyon, week of Dec. 30, 2009
Musical fun for the family
All children are musical. Music Together's classes are tons of fun and can help your child develop to his/her full musical potential. Children age birth through five and their parents/caregivers experience songs, instrument play, and movement activities in a relaxed, playful setting with no performance pressure. Participants also receive a songbook, parent guide booklet, semi-annual newsletter, and two professionally recorded CDs for more family fun at home.
Winter semester classes run for eight weeks, Jan. 14 through March 4. Each semester features a new collection of songs and activities. This winter we will boogie to the Drum Collection.
Registration for winter semester is now in progress. Save money and secure your family's spot in class by registering early. Scholarships are available for those who can't afford tuition. Want to see what a class is like? Call now to reserve your space in a free class. To register or get more information, call SuZan Pearce at (928) 638-2232.

Elementary School is looking for volunteers
Do you want to positively impact the life of a child? Would you be willing to volunteer some time at Grand Canyon School in the new year?
School officials are looking for people to work with elementary students one-on-one to: increase reading skills and to practice math facts.
Officials added that they are looking for a time commitment of at least 30 minutes at a time. Once a week, every other week, every other day, whenever it fits into your schedule! If you would like to donate some time to help our students succeed, please contact Wendy Horner, email@example.com or 638-2461 ext. 106, for more information.
