Snow leads to closures
WILLIAMS - The Williams Unified School District and Heritage Elementary School will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather. Due to the closure, school will be held on Friday.
The Williams and Flagstaff campuses of the Coconino Community College closed at noon today. CCC will remain closed through Tuesday. Students taking finals should check their CCC e-mail account. Students that have not been notified by e-mail, should call or e-mail their instructor.
A snow system that is expected to dump one to two feet of snow is moving through northern Arizona today. The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for tonight when winds are expected to reach gusts as high as 39 mph. Snow is expected to be heavy at times and will continue until 11 a.m. tomorrow.
