The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers conducted a welfare check on Fulton as part of the senior welfare check program.

• Animal control dealt with a sick skunk on Meade. The skunk was poisoned.

• Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at the middle school.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Route 66.

• Officers responded to a suspicious odor on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers dealt with a civil issue at a business on Route 66.

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Meade.

• Officers responded to a domestic on Fulton.

• Officers took a report of the theft of a cell phone.

• Officers dealt with a dog problem on Sixth Street.

• Officers investigated a deer vs. vehicle non-injury accident on Route 66.

• Officers assisted Life Line on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers responded to a loud music complaint on Sixth Street.

• Officers dealt with a mental health issue on Route 66.

• Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Route 66.

• Officers found open cable lines on Seventh Street. City crews repaired the lines.

• Officers responded to an open gate at a storage area.

• Officers found an open door at a business on Route 66. An officer secured the door.

• Officers responded to a burglary theft at a towing yard on Garland Prairie Road. A suspect was apprehended, but the victim refused to prosecute and opted to trespass suspect from property.

• Officers took in a found wallet.

• Officers took a report of credit card fraud.

• Officers responded to a fight on Rodeo Road, but found nothing in the area.

• Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Franklin.

• Officers responded to a domestic on Boyd. A male was arrested for assault.

• Officers stopped a vehicle for expired tags. The driver did not have a driver's license. The vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 30 days.

• Officers responded to a dog call on Pine Street.

• Officers dealt with a mental health issue on Edison.

• Officers responded to a report of a dog left in a vehicle at Dogtown Lake.

• Officers responded to several ATV calls.

• Officers took a report of a stolen phone.

• Officers responded to a theft from a store. An officer arrested a male for theft of alcohol.

• Officers responded to a hotel in reference to a domestic. A male was arrested for disorderly conduct.

• Officers responded to a disturbance at Third and Route 66.

• Officer responded to a disturbance at a hotel.

• Officers arrested a male for reckless driving.

• Officers took a report of a juvenile issue on Homestead.

• Officers responded to an ATV complaint on Country Club Road.

• Officers took a harassment complaint on Franklin.

• Officers took a report of person(s) unknown who damaged a pool area at a hotel.

• Officers assisted Life Line on Interstate 40, exit 163 with a female that died of natural causes.

• Officers responded to a report of criminal damage to a school vehicle at the middle school. Two juveniles were arrested for criminal damage.

• Officers responded to a reckless driver on Edison. The report was called in by a citizen on a cell phone. A male was arrested for DUI/drugs.

• Officers responded to I-40 in reference to a possible drunk driver. Officers stopped the vehicle and after a 10-minute standoff, the suspect was arrested and the vehicle was impounded.

• Officers responded to a noise complaint on Franklin.

• Officers responded to a fight at First and Route 66. The subjects were gone upon officer arrival.

• Officers responded to a domestic on Rodeo Road. A female was arrested for assault.

• Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Morse.

• Officers responded to shots fired on Airport Road. Officers found nothing in the area.

• Officers issued 16 citations and gave out 36 warnings.
