Assistance offered for visitors with disabilities

Accessibility

The National Park Service provides wheelchairs for visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Center, Yavapai Museum and Tusayan Observation Station.

Visitors with hearing impairment may request scripts to accompany many park ranger programs. No assistive devices are available at this time.

Some ranger programs are adapted to meet the needs of persons with vision impairment.

Tusayan Museum offers an exhibit guide in large print, and some exhibits at Yavapai Observation Station are accessible to those with vision impairment.

A variety of information about visitor services is available in Braille, and some in large print. Ask for these materials at the Visitor Center.

The Grand Canyon National Park Accessibility Guide is available upon request at the Visitor Center.
