Ski area open year round
Elk Ridge Ski Area offers thrills for tubers, snowboarders, skiers
Located atop Bill Williams Mountain, Elk Ridge Ski Area has plenty to offer outdoor enthusiasts in the Williams area. Open all four seasons, Elk Ridge offers a great scenic experience as well as a great time for thrill seekers both young and old. The White Stag Cafe offers diners a spectacular view with their meal.
Elk Ridge has two special tubing runs, with slopes designed for both young and old adventure seekers. Even without a fresh blast of winter snow, tubers at the Elk Ridge Ski Area can experience the thrill of shooting down the runs at any time of the year. Made from synthetic "Powderpak" material, the runs are used in conjunction with real snow in the winter months. The runs measure a whopping 200 feet in length and six feet in width.
The ski area is located south of Williams. To get there from the downtown area, drive south on Fourth Street, which becomes Perkinsville Road, aproximately 2.5 miles. Turn right on Ski Run Road, also known as Forest Road 106. Follow Ski Run Road for roughly 1.5 miles until you see the lodge.
