RCIA begins this fall

RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, will begin soon. Anyone interested in learning about the Catholic Faith, or any active Catholic wanting to learn more, can do so by attending RCIA.

The Catholic communities of St., Joseph's and St. Anne's wishes to serve as an instrument to help you grow in yourrelationship with the Lord.

United Methodist Church

Ladies, the Women of Faith Conferencce is coming fast on Nov. 21-22 at the Glendale Arena. See Lois Good if you haven't registered. The tickets cost $63 each and includes a meal.

Weekly events include:

• Tuesday - 1 p.m., Not-Sew-Perfect Quilters.

• Thursday - 6:30 p.m., hand bell choir practice.

• Saturday - Men's prayer breakfast, 7 a.m.

• Sunday - 8:45 a.m. adult Sunday school; 10 a.m. worship, young disciples church; and 11:30 a.m. fellowship.

Coconino Cowboy Church

Coconino Cowboy Church will hold services at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the Bob Dean Rodeo Barn in Williams. The services are scheduled every other week.

This cowboy church is not just for cowboys, but for all people that enjoy a country church atmosphere.

Jehovah's Witnesses

The Jehovah's Witnesses warmly welcome you to their weekly Bible meetings:

• Sunday - Public talk,

10 a.m.; Watchtower study,

10:40 a.m., Matthew 6:10.

• Tuesday - Theocratic Ministry School, 7:30 p.m. John 6:45; service meeting,

8:20 p.m.

• Thursday - Congregation Book Study is at 7:30 p.m.

• Friday - Congregation Book Study is at 9:30 a.m.

All meetings are held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5495 N. Sunset Strip, and are open to the public.

First Baptist Church

Weekly events include:

• Wednesday - Women's Bible study at the home of Edith Pouquette, 10 a.m.; FBC Teen Group, 6 p.m.

• Thursday - Hope Cottage, 7 p.m. in Flagstaff.

• Sunday - Sunday school (all ages) - 9:30 a.m.; worship service - 10:30 a.m.; children's church - 11 a.m.

• Tuesday - Men's group, 7 p.m. at the church.

Community Family Harvest Church

Sunday morning service begins at 10 a.m. Kids' church and a nursery are provided. The Sunday night service begins at 6 p.m. A nursery is provided. The last Sunday of the month we join the Community Evening Service.

On Monday, ladies' Bible study and prayer begins at 6 p.m. The ladies' 12 step program begins at 7:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, men's Bible study and prayer begins at 6 p.m. and the mens' 12 step program begins at 7:15 p.m.

On Thursday at 6 p.m. adult and children's Bible study begins. Youth Night - an evening of teaching, games and food - is offered 6-9 p.m.

The first Saturday of the month, men's breakfast begins at 9 a.m.

A Fall Festival will be held 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 31. Enjoy free fun, food and games - a jumpy house, face painting, crafts and more. Everyone is invited.

St. Joseph Catholic Church

Weekly events include -

• Tuesday - Holy Mass, 6 p.m.

• Friday - Holy Mass, 6 p.m.; Holy Hour and Benediction, 6:30 p.m.

• Saturday - Confessions, 4-4:30 p.m.; Holy Mass, 5:30 p.m.; Spanish Mass, 7 p.m.

• Sunday - English Holy Mass, 8 a.m.

The church office is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
