Community fund to host information session Dec. 2
Free event targets area nonprofits
Nonprofit organizations interested in applying for grants from the Greater Williams Community Fund are invited to attend an information session on the GWCF grant process. Attendees will also receive advice on how to fill out grant applications. The session will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Williams Elementary-Middle school library.
Jean-Ellen Kegler, chair of the GWCF steering committee, said GWCF hopes to distribute approximately $5,000 in grants next year. Grants are made possible through earnings from the fund, a permanent endowment created to benefit a variety of nonprofits that support youth, education, social services, healthcare, senior services, the arts and other community needs in the greater Williams area.
Attendance at the session is recommended, although not required, before applying for a GWCF grant. To obtain a GWCF grant application or for more information, contact Sandy Roe at (928) 635-4428 or email@example.com or Jean-Ellen Kegler at (928) 773-1709 or jkeglerWaol.com. Applications must be postmarked no later than Jan. 12.
