Letter: You made Opry Night the best yet
To the editor:
Habitat for Humanity wants to thank all who made the Grand Opry Night a great success. You helped us raise $1,800. As a result we can help others in our community.
Pamelia LaPaglia, the master of ceremony, kept the evening flowing with the door prizes, raffles and the auction offered between the musicians. Camp Civitan brought several of their special campers who had a great time with the cakewalk and dancing.
Comments were that this was the best of all Opry Nights. We thank all the musicians for donating their talent, businesses that displayed the flyers, also those who gave merchandise for prizes and the city for donating the rodeo barn. Without you this evening would not have happened.
Keep April 3 in mind for our next Opry Night along with the Kiwanis holding a spaghetti dinner before the music begins. Both of these events will take place at the rodeo barn.
