May 20, 1943

• A class of 28 young high school students will be awarded diplomas at the 1943 Williams High School commencement next Thursday evening, May 27. A reception for the graduating class will be held in the library at the conclusion of the commencement program.

50 years ago

May 22, 1958

• Thirty-one graduating seniors of the Williams High School Class of 1958 will take part in closing school ceremonies within the following week. Commencement will be at 8 p.m. May 28 in the high school gym. A highlight in the senior year for these students was their moving from the old high school on East Sheridan Avenue to the new structure on South Seventh Street.

35 years ago

May 23, 1973

• Commencement exercises for 50 seniors will be held this Sunday evening, May 25, at 8 p.m. in the high school gym. Top students John Fleming, valedictorian; Carol Jo Sharpe, salutatorian; and Cathy Jo Chapman, historian, will present their Class of 1974.
