Adventures with Puddles
Puddles the Blue Goose will be in Williams on Friday. On Saturday Public Lands Interpretive Association/Southwest Recreation will celebrate National Get Outdoors Day and will kick off the first annual "Get Outdoors Summer Adventure Passport Program." All events will be held at the Kaibab Lake Campground on Highway 64 and will feature special programming throughout the day, including a free fishing clinic provided by Arizona Game and Fish, special appearances by Smokey Bear and Puddles the Blue Goose, a spin-casting contest and a slideshow on birds and wildlife with special guest Ranger Charlie Marshall from Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge in Missouri. Puddles the Blue Goose will be handing out the passports in Williams this Friday at the Visitor, Youth Recreation and Aquatic centers between 2-3:30 p.m., and Saturday morning at Kaibab Lake.
