• The presentation of the operetta, "Heartless House," scheduled for presentation Friday night has been indefinitely postponed. The operetta is for girls' voices only and last week members of the high school Girls Glee Club voted to attempt the presentation within the brief period of time remaining before the music supervisor, Miss Charlotte Stevenson, takes her leave of the Williams faculty, but with the rehearsals not going too well on Monday and only four girls remaining, the girls took another vote that favored a postponement rather than a flop presentation.

• An unidentified flying object was sighted about 1 o'clock last Wednesday afternoon by "J.C." Keys of Slagel Street, Williams. He was driving his pickup truck along Highway 66 near the Rod Graves Ranch Road when the object hurtled into view. The object, according to Mr. Keys, was globe shaped and was about 30 feet in diameter with a rigid antenna about 80 feet long extending from it. It was about 150 feet ahead of him, about 100 feet above the roadway and traveled about 300 mph.
