Drama students staging plays
The High School and Middle School drama classes plan performances in early December.
Admission will be $2 with refreshments for sale. Both are in the school multi-purpose room.
The High School drama production of "The Commedia - Princess and the Pea," written by Lane Riosley and Rebecca Le Byars, will be on Thursday, Dec. 6, 6:30 p.m.
The Middle School drama production of "No Place Like Nowhere," written by Andrew Ross, will be on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m.
In "The Commedia - Princess and the Pea," Arlequin is afraid he'll be stuck playing the role of the pea, but he ends up getting to play the prince.
The troupe romps through a series of hilarious princess tests with great slapstick humor. A fairy godmother is in this story? Rosetta's playing the role, whether the troupe likes it or not!
"No Place Like Nowhere" asks what is there to do in the middle of Nowhere? Just ask a temperamental movie star, the paparazzi, secret agents, a crooked congressman and two brothers putting on a two-man production of "Romeo and Juliet." Add 500 tons of toxic waste and chaos and hilarity ensue.
