Veterans have fee free day
All National Park Service sites, including Grand Canyon National Park, will offer free visitor admission for U.S. veterans, active members of the U.S. armed forces and their families Sunday, Nov. 11.
The fee waiver applies to entrance fees only. The duration of the free permit is one day regardless of the park's usual standard entrance permit period. Commercial tour entrance fees will not be waived.
Entrance fees are also waived on other public lands, including U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Forest Service.
