Theresa Josette Martinez

Theresa Josette Martinez, 45, woke up in the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2007.

She was born on June 15, 1961. She lived in Williams for a short time with her parents and attended church at Family Harvest.

Theresa will be missed by her family and friends, which include her parents Roy and Mary Allison; her three sons Michael Ruiz, Philip Steele and Jacob Martinez; her brother Tommy Martinez; sisters Judy Flores and Shari Allison; three grandchildren Maya Nicole, Kameron and Gloria; grandmother Jessie Martinez; sister-in-law Lucia; brothers-in-law Marcos and Robert; and also many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Theresa Josette touched many lives and will be lovingly missed and remembered by all. She was ready to meet her Lord. She knew God would wipe away every tear from her eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away (Rev. 21:4).

She will return home to Oxnard, Calif., where she will be put to rest.

LeRoy E. Osier

LeRoy E. Osier, 81, passed away on May 23, 2007, at Friendship of the Valley Hospice in Tempe.

Born in Minneapolis, Minn. on Aug. 6, 1925, he grew up in Hamel, Minn. He pursued his career in Florida in construction. He served in the military in the 101st Airborne. He retired to Arizona and spent his summers in Williams. 

He is survived by his loving companion "sweetheart" Angeline "Angie" Radacy; his brother Richard Osier of Richmond, Minn.; trusted business associate V. William Osier; children Bruce Osier of Fairmont, Minn., Allan Osier of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., Donald Osier of Buffalo, Minn., Kathy Francis of Big Pine Key, Fla., and Laurie and Randy Cunningham of Liberty, W.V.; and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held in Williams in July. Please contact family members for more details.

Marian Elizabeth Tieman

Marian Elizabeth Tieman (Calkins), 71, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully Monday, May 21, 2007.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1936 in Williamsport, Pa. She lived most of her life in Arizona.  She was formerly a member of the Parks School Board.

A kind and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Bert R. Tieman; her children, Gary (Janet) Tieman, Tom (Shirley) Tieman, John (Keri) Tieman, Steve (Dawn) Tieman, Chris Tieman, and Marianne (Sean) McNamara; her brothers Bob Calkins and Richard Calkins; her sister Sandra Zufall; and 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 10 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior at the LDS Chapel, 8602 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix.
