Canyon Corner
School concert is this evening
The Grand Canyon High School and Middle School present their annual spring concert tonight, at 6:30 p.m. at the Shrine of the Ages. The free program is open to the community.
This performance, under the direction of George Haughton, will feature several original and classic selections including "Good Lovin'," a medley of 1970s funk tunes, "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts," "Eye of the Tiger," a rollicking selection of Irish dance songs, some great jazz improvisation and several surprises.
The night will close with a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra. Musicians should be at the Shrine by 6:15 p.m.
