The Kaibab Forest now has a maintenance crew on the road south of the city and expects to put the South Road in fine shape during the summer. The road is reported in good condition now, but the crew, with J.L. Schroeder as foreman, expects to work the full length from Williams to Perkinsville. The road camp is equipped with a telephone so that the crew can be called in to fight fires if necessary.

A meeting was held this afternoon at the Little League Park to start the ball rolling and those who are interested, girls or women, should contact Mrs. Frank Wolfe or Mrs. Louis Landrey.
