Canyon Corner
New coffee shop opens
The Red Feather Lodge opened RP's Stage Stop last week in the former Happy Trails building. They offer hot and cold coffee drinks, pastries, smoothies and a variety of hot and cold teas. They also have an Internet cafe and gift items - both with a Canyon theme for visitors and without for residents who are looking for different gift options locally.
Hours are seven days a week, from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. with plans to expand from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. They are also hiring. Stop by the store for details, or by the Red Feather desk for an application.
The shop is named for RP Thurston, a Williams rancher who became one of Tusayan's pioneering businessmen and founder of Red Feather Lodge.
