School bus to Valle starting
Bus service for students south of Tusayan begins Monday when school resumes after the Christmas break.
Bus runs begin at 7 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with proposed stops at the Valle Airport Trailer Court, Chevron gas station, South Rim Ranch and Woodland Ranch. The schedule and stops could change based on feedback from a survey that went out last week.
Some Tusayan stops also have changed.
The survey was sent to all parents, and all who have children who ride the bus are asked to complete and return theirs. It includes questions on routes and preferred stops in Valle, Tusayan and the park.
