Jan. 29, 1942
Fire, presumably started by a bunch of kids, destroyed a small frame garage at the rear of a residence on East Edison Avenue about 9 a.m. Wednesday. The flimsy structure went up like a powder keg and all that remained when the fire engine reached the spot was the lot.
A number of youngsters were playing in the garage just before it burst into flames and are given credit for starting the blaze.

Jan. 31, 1957
On Saturday morning residents of Williams will have the opportunity of contributing to the March of Dimes through purchase of a little blue crutch. The boys will be on the streets and in various businesses offering these crutches for sale. Be sure to purchase one and give as generously as you can.

Jan. 27, 1972
The Red Lake Rodeo Club met Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Owens, and elected officers. New president is Jerry Fuller. Also elected were Mike Nard, vice president and Norma Pearson, secretary-treasurer. Bud and Janelle Owens are club sponsors.
