Diabetes support offered Jan. 3
The Williams Diabetes Support Group will meet at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 3 at the Williams Senior Center, 850 W. Grant Ave.
Rose Marie Rincon will lead the meeting, which will focus on learning to live with diabetes. The meetings are free and are open to anyone that wants to know more about diabetes.

Wild Wimmin calendars are
still available
A calendar featuring the Wild Wimmin of Williams is now available for sale. Calendars can be purchased at Wild West Junction, Gracie's Clothing, Java Cycle Coffee and the News.

Aquatic center remains closed
The Williams Aquatic Center will be closed through Jan. 6 for annual maintenance. The center will re-open Jan. 7.
Outdoor ice rink skating times
The outdoor ice rink located next to the Visitors' Center remains open. The ice rink is offered by the city of Williams Recreation Department.
The cost per session is $8 for adults and $5 for children. The admission cost includes skate rentals.
Through Sunday, the ice rink will be open for several sessions. On Sundays and Thursdays, two sessions will be offered from 4:30-6 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. The rink will offer three sessions on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30-6 p.m., 6:30-8 p.m. and 8:30-10 p.m.
Today, tomorrow, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Jan. 2, 3 and 6, two sessions will be offered from 4:30-6 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m.
Three sessions will be offered Friday and Saturday and Jan. 4-5. Skating times are 4:30-6 p.m., 6:30-8 p.m. and 8:30-10 p.m.

Kiwanis coat drive under way
The Williams Kiwanis Club's annual coat drive remains under way. Anyone with used coats of any size - adults or children - can take them to Gateway Cleaners, where they will be cleaned at no charge.
Coats will be distributed to schools, the Williams Senior Center, the Williams Food Bank and anyone in need.
Women on the Move meet weekly
The "Women on the Move" meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous is held every Tuesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Walker Hall, Second Street and Grant Avenue. The meeting is open to all women whether or not they identify as an alcoholic.
