The Williams Middle School Falcons boys A, B, and C teams have wrapped up their season with two tournament events last weekend.

On Feb. 24, the B and C teams traveled to Seligman. The B and C teams both lost to Music Mountain with scores of 11-60 and 8-36, respectively. The B team then also dropped another game to Seligman, 29-30.

"That was sad, because we were ahead at one point," said Assistant Coach Deniz Chavez of the final Seligman game.

The next day, the A team traveled to Ash Fork for a tournament there. The A team was on a run, beating both Ash Fork and Seligman with scores of 51-15 and a nail-biting 37-36, but ended losing to Music Mountain 34-46.

The loss put the A team in second place for the tourney.

The News congratulates all the Flacons players for their efforts and entertainment this season.
