There's only one more week to go for the Williams Little League majors category baseball teams before the upcoming city-wide tournament.

So far, the Williams Wildcats are 7-4 with their latest win On May 24 against Ash Fork, 7-2. Pitchers Sam Butler and Cody Dick combined for the win.

Before that, the Wildcats won against Seligman 20-0 in four innings with Cody Baxter and Dylan Mace getting the win on the mound. On May 19, the team lost against the Williams Scrappers, 5-0, and lost to the Williams Storm, 10-6 on May 22.

For the Williams Scrappers, their 5-0 win against the Wildcats on May 19 had Wesley Perkins on the mound delivering an awesome 12 strikeouts. At the plate, Jimmy Perkins nearly had a home run, but the ball hit the very top of the fence and came back in for an RBI double.

Results from recent Williams Storm were unavailable at press time. The Storm plays on Friday and they, the Scrappers, and the Wildcats all have games Saturday as well.
