Check your health, have fun on Saturday<br>
Registered Nurse Nell Brown checks sugar levels on a subject with a quick prick to the finger.
For the kids, something called the Safari Van — with fun-filled health facts and demonstrations geared towards children — will be present, and the Williams Police Department is supplying the ever-popular bounce-house.
The adults can enjoy free blood pressure readings, or fitness/body-fat tests by on-site physical therapists. If you can handle fasting for 8-10 hours prior to the fair, you can also get a free cholesterol screening — normally $55 — or a free blood-sugar level test.
Refreshments will be served and the first 200 participants will receive a free gift just for dropping by.
