Express opinion with letter to editor
The Williams-Grand Canyon News welcomes your opinion in the form of a letter to the editor, or in some cases, a longer viewpoint article. This section is intended to provide a forum for readers to publicly express their thoughts and opinions. The opinions stated in letters to the editor do not necessarily represent the opinion of the editor or this newspaper.
We do have some guidelines which need to be followed to have your submittals considered for publication. Please keep your letters brief. The maximum length for a letter to the editor is 400 words. Longer letters may be shortened as the editor sees fit.
Letters will be accepted in typewritten or computer printout form. Legibly-written letters will also be accepted.
All letters and viewpoints are subject to editing. Whether printed or not, they become the property of the Williams-Grand Canyon News and will not be returned.
Submissions must be signed by the writer and contain the individual's first and last name, address and phone number for verification or if questions arise. Full names and city of residence are required for publication. To be considered for publication in the following week's newspaper, letters must be received via mail, fax or e-mail by noon Monday.
Send your letters and viewpoints to: Lynda Duffy, editor, Williams-Grand Canyon News, P.O. Box 667, Williams, AZ 86046. Fax: 928-635-4887. E-mail: editorial@williamsnews.com.
