7-9 p.m. – Open gym volleyball, Grand Canyon School multi-purpose room, only ages 16 and above admitted.

6 p.m. — Community Movie Night, Grand Canyon Rec Center, featuring “The Bourne Supremecy” (PG-13) with Mat Damon. Free and open to all residents, refreshments included.
7-8 p.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Kachina Lodge, Kachina room.
Friday, Jan. 21
6 p.m. — Community Movie Night, Grand Canyon Rec Center, featuring “Dodgeball” (PG-13) with Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn.

Ongoing events
“Writing Down the River: Into the Heart of the Grand Canyon,” at Kolb Studio through Feb. 20. This visual and literary exhibit is adapted from the book of the same title by Kathleen Jo Ryan. It celebrates the experiences of 15 women writers who boated down the Colorado River. Sponsored by Grand Canyon Association and Grand Canyon National Park.
Kolb Studio: Images of the Past, daily at 3:30 p.m. (by registration only). Tour the 100-year-old Kolb Studio on the Canyon rim behind Bright Angel Lodge and learn about lives and historical adventures of these Grand Canyon pioneers. Register at Kolb Studio or by calling 638-2771.
Glimpses of the Past, daily at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Tusayan Museum at Desert View. Learn about the ancient people who called the Canyon home 800 years ago and explore a Puebloan ruin along a short paved trail.
