Fall Festival offers merchant sales, food, beauty pageant, golf tourney
Local boys Killer Wail, winner of the 2003 Cool Country Cruise-In Battle of the Bands, will rock the Fall Festival on Saturday from 4-6 p.m.

Beer tents, food sales and live entertainment stages will be located in the parking lot behind the Route 66 Roadstore, the old Babbit-Polson building. Arts and crafts will have the run of Third Street as it will be blocked off between Route 66 and Railroad Ave. both Saturday and Sunday. The Recreation Center will house the kid’s area with fun and games coordinated by the Aspen Homemakers, and Cruise-the-Loop hayrides will be offered at the northwest corner of Third Street and Railroad Avenue.

On Saturday, the festival gets its start at 9 a.m. with the golf tournament at Elephant Rocks. In-town events start at 10 a.m. and go all day until 6 p.m. Cool Country Cruise-In Battle of the Bands winners Killer Wail are providing live music on the entertainment stage at 4 p.m.

Sunday’s events start at the same time — 10 a.m. — with a few exceptions. Food and beer stands open at 11 a.m. and hay rides start at noon.

Arizona State Railroad Museum fundraiser raffle tickets will be sold at the Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce booth. Those purchasing six or more raffle tickets get the “Track” ticket, which allows customers to receive prizes once it is stamped by local merchants they buy from.
