Clean your teeth after Halloween

Adults and children are invited to get their teeth clean in Ash Fork Nov. 1. Cleanings will be provided from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Ash Fork Dental Clinic, 112 Park Avenue.

All services are offered free of charge. Services provided for children include a dental exam, x-rays, teeth cleaning and dental education. Head and neck cancer screening and dental screening will be available for adults.

The Northern Arizona University Dental Hygiene Department and North Country Community Health Care are sponsoring the event.

While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are preferred. To schedule an appointment, call 637-2305 Mondays or Thursdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Neighbors help

in Williams Nov. 5

Neighbors Helping Neighbors will be assisting those in need by hosting a food bank in Williams Nov. 5. The food bank will be located at First Baptist Church, 629 W. Grant Avenue. Food boxes will be available from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors will host a food bank in Red Lake from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 6. A third food bank will be in Valle from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 7.

With the holidays approaching, the Neighbors Helping Neighbors food bank is in need of non-perishable food items. For more information, contact Barbara Wilson at 928-606-4616.

Senior Center’s annual bazaar

set for Nov. 16

Nov. 16 is the day to purchase crafts and fresh baked goods at the Williams Senior Center, 850 W. Grant Avenue. The bazaar will be held from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

The senior’s welcome anyone who would like to participate by purchasing space at $10 per table. Payment is due when tables are reserved. A limited number of tables are available.

Post office hosts stamp fair Nov. 16

The U.S. Postal Service will host its 12th Annual Youth Stamp Fair from 10 a.m.-Noon. The event will be held at the Main Post Office on Postal Boulevard in Flagstaff.

Kids can enjoy hands-on activities, door prizes, films and free stamps.

Parade of Lights entry deadline set for Nov. 29

Mountain Village Holiday’s 2002 Parade of Lights is scheduled for Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. Donna Cochran, executive director of the Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce, along with chamber board members and employees, will be this year’s grand marshals.

Entries can be in the following categories: Float, antique/special vehicle, band, recreational vehicle, marching/walking group and equestrian. There will also be a judges’ trophy for best of theme.
