Thelma McCarthy
Thelma Galbraith McCarthy, 95, of Williams, died Sept. 30, 2001. She was born Nov. 16, 1905 in Statten Island, N.Y., the daughter of John and Margaret McLarty.
Mrs. McCarthy was a schoolteacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. McCarthy, her parents and two sisters, Lucille Holler and Margaret McLarty.
An evening vigil and rosary will be held 5 p.m. Oct. 5 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 900 W. Grant Ave. in Williams. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at St. Joseph’s. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery. Flagstaff Mortuary handled funeral arrangements.
