Williams-Grand Canyon News

WGCN is actually two newspapers in one. The Williams section covers news about Northern Arizona along with local Williams news, sports and events. This section also includes news from Parks and Ash Fork. The Grand Canyon section is an in-depth look into the area around the Canyon, including Tusayan, Valle and the National Park. The newspaper is published every Wednesday and has a circulation of more than 3,000 and touts an additional 30,000 online viewers per month. Two times a year WGCN publishes two tourist guides — one for Williams and one for the Grand Canyon. In the spring we publish and distribute a tourist map that is available throughout Arizona tourist destinations.

Navajo-Hopi Observer

The weekly newspaper the Navajo-Hopi Observer contains tribal news, human interest stories, community events, sports, school and health related information for the Western Navajo tribe and all of the Hopi reservation. The geographical area the Observer covers is the northeast quadrant of Arizona. Each week 15,000 copies are delivered to this vast area with an estimated readership of over 50,000 with an additional online readership of almost an additional 50,000 per month. The Observer is placed in trading posts, stores, schools, hospitals, restaurants and Chapter houses or tribal facilities along with distribution in Flagstaff, Winslow, Holbrook and Page, Arizona. The Navajo-Hopi Observer is the primary news source for Reservation communities and is the only non-tribally controlled vehicle to address issues and concerns of many northern Arizona Native Americans.
