The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service (among others) —


• Officers attended memorial service for first responders;

• Officers responded to a civil matter on Homestead Avenue;

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident at a local gas station;

• Officers arrested a woman and man for disorderly conduct and criminal damage at a local hotel;

• Officers dealt with a highly intoxicated person on Railroad Avenue, the person was taken to their hotel room;

• Officers dealt with a child custody issue on Route 66;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on First Street;

• Officers took a lost wallet report, the wallet was turned in and taken back to the owner;

• Officers took an IRS phone scam report from a citizen;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Fulton Avenue;

• Officers arrested a man for a valid warrant and dangerous drugs on Fulton Avenue;

• Officers took lost property report on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers responded to a gas leak on Second Street, the matter was turned over to the Fire Department;

• Officers took a sexual assault report, the matter is under investigation;

• Officers responded to juvenile issue on Seventh Street;

• Officers issued a verbal warning and separated the people involved in a disturbance on Grant Avenue;

• Officers investigated a hit and run accident at a local gas station;

• Officers took a criminal damage report on Route 66;

• Officers responded to a disturbance at a local hotel;

• Officers responded to an alarm at a local business on Route 66;

• Officers took a theft report on Route 66;

• Officers issued a verbal warning and separated the people involved in a disturbance on Fulton Avenue;

• Officers worked the football game at the high school, there were no issues except for firework complaints;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Edison Avenue;

• Officers took stolen vehicle report after someone failed to return rental from the I-40 fleet;

• Officers arrested a man for 10 counts of aggravated assault after he threatened people on a bus tour with a knife at a local grocery store;

• Officers investigated an injury accident at Edison Avenue and Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers took a criminal damage report at a local hotel;

• Officers arrested a man for trespassing and criminal damage at a local hotel;

• Officers investigated a non-injury vehicle versus deer accident in the 1100 block of east Route 66;

• Officers removed a person from a local hotel for trespassing;

• Officers and the Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on Rodeo Road;

• Officers assisted with traffic control for the mountain men run;

• Officers turned a medical call on Route 66 over to Life Line;

• Officers turned a medical call for a juvenile who wrecked their bike on Route 66 over to Life Line;

• Officers took a private property accident report on Railroad Avenue;

• Officers responded to a civil matter at a local restaurant;

• Officers responded to a woman yelling on Route 66, a drunk woman was taken back to her hotel room;

• Officers responded to a suspicious person on Edison Avenue, officers found nothing in the area;

• Officers responded to an intoxicated man causing issues on Route 66, the man complied with officers and went home;

• Officers arrested two men for breaking street lights on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers arrested a man for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers assisted the Flagstaff Police Department with an emergency message on Grant Avenue; • Officers assisted Life Line at several locations;
