WEMS announces December Students of the Month

WILLIAMS, Ariz. —Administrators and teachers at Williams Unified School District (WUSD) recently announced the December Students of the Month.

Tanner Sutton is the kindergarten Student of the Month. His teacher said Tanner is a great student who is always smiling, cooperative, and tries his best. He is not distracted by others and never gets his name on the board. He is a friend to everyone and is the king of Show-And-Tell every week.

Lilly Oszust is the first grade Student of the Month. Her teacher said she is a top-notch student who has been working to her abilities this past month. She has been putting a lot of effort into her work and into being the best citizen she can be. She is kind, helpful, and very supportive of her teacher and other students.

Alejandra Godinez is the second grade Student of the Month. Her teacher said she is a great young lady who brightens up the room every morning. She brings a smile with her where ever she goes. She is on task, helpful and kind. Alejandra is making progress and staying focused on improving academically. Her teacher said “Great job, keep up the good work and thanks for the smile.”

Arisa Ulloa is the third grade Student of the Month. Arisa is new to WUSD this year. Her teacher said she is a great example of being a responsible student by completing all assignments on time, turning in her homework every day without being reminded, and taking on any errands her teacher may need. She has also been a proper example on how to behave in class. She has introduced some hand signals that she had used in her previous school. Her teacher said she is glad to have her in the class.

Taylor Murphy is the fourth grade Student of the Month. Her teacher is very proud of her and said she works hard and is very helpful. Her teacher said she is glad to have Taylor in class every day.

Juliano Coronado is the fifth grade Student of the Month. His teacher said he always has a smile on his face and has a positive outlook on whatever he does. He never says he can’t do something and is always willing to try whatever comes his way. He always tries his best no matter what. He is more than willing to jump in and help where ever he is needed in the classroom. He is always the first to help to get the room straightened and ready when it is the end of the day. He enjoys listening to novels they read in class and is always eager to know what the next novel is that we will be reading. He is truly a positive role model for his peers.

Middle School

Cat Satterlee is the female middle school Student of the Month. Her teachers say she is a very respectful, helpful, polite, and well-behaved young lady. She is hardworking in every class she attends. She has a great sense of humor and works hard to develop positive relationships with her peers.

Cameron Basham is the male middle school Student of the Month. Cameron is a hardworking learner that never gives up and is always willing to try new things in order to be successful. He constantly displays politeness and compassion. He displays curiosity and passion in the learning environment that leads him to new levels of achievement.
