Williams PD to enforce city of Williams snow removal ordinance

WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Because of the possibility of several storms caused by El Nino this year the Williams Police Department will actively enforce the city of Williams' snow removal ordinance.

According to Williams Police Chief Herman Nixon, the police department will work with the citizens of Williams to help find alternative parking for those who only have street parking available.

Article 8-7.07

No person shall park or be permitted to park any vehicle on any public street, boulevard or alley during snow removal.

Article 8-7.08,

If a vehicle is parked in violation of this code the Police Department is authorized to remove the vehicle, or cause it to be removed at the expense of the person owning or controlling such vehicle.
