Fourth annual Car Care Clinic Nov. 15
WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Williams Neighborhood Group is hosting its fourth annual free car care clinic for single women and senior citizens Nov. 15.
The clinic takes place at I-40 Fleet Services, 441 E. Route 66 between 1 and 4 p.m. Attendants will inspect fluid levels, belts, tire pressure and basic vehicle condition in preparation for winter driving.
"We take a peek at the vehicle and do a few routine inspections," said coordinator Daniel Miller. "We top off fluids, look at the brake pads, fill up tires, inspect windshield wipers - we give the car a once over."
Miller said they are catering to single women and senior citizens, but anyone who needs assistance is welcome to stop by.
"Its not heavy maintenance," Miller said. "But it's easy to overlook your car and let things slide. We're just trying to give a leg up to single women in community."
Miller said the event has become popular in Williams. He said each year their attendance has doubled, and they are expecting around 40 attendees.
I-40 Fleet Services is donating the use of their facility for the event. Refreshments will be provided to customers while their vehicles are being serviced. More information is available from Daniel Miller at (816) 719-8470.
