Obituary: John E. Wagoner

John E. Wagoner was born March 29, 1938 in Waldron, Arkansas to Oneda Thompson and John L. Wagoner.

John married the love of his life, Donna Williams, on January 27, 1957 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was a devoted husband for 57 years and the father of four children. John returned home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2014.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, of 57 years, children, Jonel Wagoner of Springville, California, Karre Jo Santana (Phillip) of Williams, Arizona and John T. Wagoner (Dedra) of Williams, Arizona.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, Christopher Santana (Olivia), Chelsea Vargas (Marco), Tyrell Martinez, Samantha Robbins and Cierra Santana.

John was a great-grandfather to eight children, Brittany Santana, Desiree Santana, Brandon Santana, Tania Morales, Maya Vargas, Christian Santana, Annessa Vargas, Carson Martinez and another great grandson due in December.

John will be fondly remembered by all, especially his special friends he made throughout the years that he owned his service station, Wagoner's Union.

He loved his family and his family was the most important aspect of his life. He loved the station, hunting, fishing, riding in the woods and spending time with friends and family and most of all, his faithful companion, Tater Bug.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday October 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Williams.
