Community United Methodist Church

No business meeting until January. Sisters in Spirit will serve their annual Soup Luncheon on Dec. 19 from 11:30-1 p.m. The men's ministry meets this Saturday at 7 a.m. in the Social Hall.

Weekly fellowship opportunities include -

• Monday - 5 p.m. Cub Scouts.

• Tuesday - 1-3 p.m., Not Sew Perfect Quilters.

• Wednesday - 6 p.m. Recharge Soup/Salad Fellowship; 7 p.m. Recharge Study, "Invite-Encounter-Disciple."

• Thursday - 9:30 a.m. Women's Bible study; 6 p.m. Youth Group.

• Sunday - 8:45 a.m. adult Sunday school; 9:50 a.m. prayer time before worship; 10 a.m. Young Disciples Church; and 11:30 a.m. pot luck fellowship.

Family Harvest Church

Pastor Tim Milner and David Gutshall invite you and your family to be our guest every week. We have something for the whole family. We are a Christ centered church. Our weekly schedule includes -

• Sunday - 10:30 a.m., Worship and Word; 11 a.m., Kids Church; 6 p.m. Evening Service, last Sunday night of the month community service.

•Monday - 4:30 p.m., Women's Bible Study; 5:30 p.m., Youth Leadership Development; 6:30 p.m., Youth Group with live music from the Beavers Boys.

• Wednesday - 6 p.m., Life Lessons.

• Thursday - Youth Leadership Development, 5:30 p.m.; Youth Live Worship by the Beaver Boys, 7 p.m.

Last Thursday of the month is Ladies Mission to Hope Cottage in Flagstaff. Third Wednesday and last Thursday of the month is Sunshine Rescue Mission to feed and teach about the love of Christ.

St. John's Episcopal-Lutheran Church

May we as the three wise men delight in the Lord.

All members are encouraged to attend the book study during the next four weeks. We will be reading and studying "The Church We Yearn For" by Michael Durall.

This study will prepare us as a congregation to better understand what we need in a pastor/priest who will be "called" later this year as Rev. Ann Johnson is retiring in March, 2014. This coming Sunday we will be studying the introduction and chapters one and two. If you need a book, please call the church office, at 635-2781 and leave a message. The study begins at 9 a.m. Sunday.

The church annual meeting will be Jan. 27th. following the 10:30 am morning worship service. There will be a pot-luck lunch. Please bring a dish to pass.

All are welcome to join us each Sunday morning for worship and fellowship.

St. Joseph Catholic Church

Weekly events include -

• Friday - 4 p.m., Holy Hour and Benediction; and 5 p.m., Daily Mass.

• Saturday - 4 p.m., Confessions; 4:30 p.m., Holy Rosary; 5 p.m., English Vigil Mass; 6:30 p.m., Santo Rosario; and 7 p.m., Santa Misa Vigilia.

• Sunday - 7:30 a.m. Rosary; 8 a.m. Mass in English.

• Tuesday - 5 p.m., Daily Mass.

First Baptist Church

The First Baptist Church invites community members to come be a part of their rejuvenating ministry. The church mission is to change hearts and change lives, one soul at a time. • Pastor's Coffee - Sunday 9:30 a.m. Join pastor for coffee and pastry. Pastor's Coffee is an informal get together for guests and visitors to visit and ask questions about the Assembly of God fellowship and our local church.

• Celebration Service - Sundays 10 a.m. Passionate worship and relevant, Biblical messages. Join us for a walk though the Kingdom of God as Jesus shared in the NT Parables.

Calvary Chapel Williams

This week's regularly scheduled church events include -

• Wednesday - Midweek study begins at 7 p.m. at the church.

• Thursday - Junior and Senior High School Youth Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

• Sunday - An Hour of Prayer begins at 9 a.m. Please join us to pray for the needs of our community, state, nation and world. Sunday worship service begins at 10 a.m. Pastor Mike is currently teaching through the Book 1 of Corinthians.

Jehovah's Witnesses

The Jehovah's Witnesses warmly welcome you to their weekly Bible meetings:

• Sunday - Bible discourse, 10 a.m.; Watchtower study, Matthew 6:10.

• Thursday - Theocratic Ministry School, Congregation Bible Study, service meeting, 7:30 p.m., John 6:45.

All meetings are held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5495 N. Sunset Strip, and are open to the public.

Canyon Chapel - a Foursquare Church

Come and worship with us as we celebrate Jesus and the life of freedom he has provided for us. Pastors Ken and Lori Edes and Dave and Gwen Nenne have served in Williams for over 22 years. Our focus is on abundant grace, living as royalty, learning to live our lives like Jesus lived His life with signs and wonders following, and creating a culture of honor among us. We also focus on Missions, supporting those who are there and sending some to the nations, this weekend a group are in Mexico visiting and taking supplies to an orphanage.

Join us every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and fellowship. Our celebration service begins at 10 a.m. with Kid's Church at 11 a.m.

On Tuesday's at 7 p.m., Dr. Art Cole teaches the book of Romans during Bible study.

On Wednesday from 6-8 p.m, join Y-Force, our youth ministry for tweens to teens. This week will are going caroling and delivering cookies to the residents of St. Agnes Apartments.
