Red Flag warning in effect through Friday
WILLIAMS, Ariz. - A Red Flag warning from Prescott to the Kaibab Plateau is in effect for today and tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service. This warning covers the Williams, Tusayan and North Kaibab districts of the Kaibab National Forest. Forest visitors are advised to refrain from having a campfire when Red Flag warnings exist.
Red Flag warnings occur when the forecast shows strong wind and low relative humidity causing an increased potential for large fire growth. This advisory will stay in effect until the Red Flag warning ends.
