Milestone: Veteran's father honored in D.C.

John Bachor, a resident of Williams, Ariz., holds the American Flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol in memory of his father. John R. Bachor Sr. was a decorated WWII U.S. Army Air Force veteran whose famous battles and campaigns included Normandy, Northern and Southern France, Rhineland, Europe, etc. He received many medals, including three Bronze Stars and one Silver Star. John Jr. served with the 36th Engineers in Vietnam 1967-1968. Many thanks to Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (R) NY who arranged for this honor to take place in her office in Washington, D.C.
