Community United Methodist Church

God's vision for Community United Methodist Church begins when we prayerfully give our hearts to Him, trusting His promise, thus receiving new life in His Spirit. God then desires to move us from settling for "good enough," to attaining His greatness and His strength as we achieve our full Potential in Ministry.

On Saturday, 17 children of God came together to spruce up the church and grounds. Everyone did a great service for our 120-year-old building, but more for each other. It was a great fellowship of busy people accomplishing more than expected.

Pastor Billy continued his sermon series on "Jesus never said it would be easy.... But what a great retirement plan." Scripture was read from Matthew 10:40-42. The Community Worship Service was held at Community United Methodist Church Sunday evening. There was a lot of great music and a great message was delivered. Good food and fellowship filled the evening.

Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9 we will be celebrating 120 years of praising God under the same roof at Community United Methodist Church. The celebration will start with an old fashion barbecue and outdoor worship service, followed on Sunday with a celebration worship featuring some of the past ministers of our church. Everyone is invited.
